S4BB has just announced an update to their commercial BlackBerry Video Generator. While there are free options out there for video conversion this one always seems to be the simplest and fastest way to get video to your BlackBerry. The main reason I am posting this is for all the current users this update is free and worth downloading. If you are looking for a BlackBerry video converter then the S4BB version costs $14.99 at MobileSoftMarket compared to $19.99 at other software stores.

The new version comes with the following changes:

• Desktop Compatibility: Microsoft Vista and XP are simultaneously supported.
• BlackBerry Compatibility: 4:3 and 16:9 formats will be processed according to RIM’s official guidelines; results in higher quality.
• Format Compatibility: Internal file format converting has been upgraded; results in even higher audio / video quality.
• Free Updates: All current users will get a free update.
