Unlock All Vendor Themes With Jibi’s Edited BlackBerry.alx Files
Mark, one of our readers asked how he can unlock all of the vendor themes on his BlackBerry 8800. Jibi at BlackBerryForums.com has a wonderful thread that he maintains for just this purpose. The thread has the edited BlackBerry.alx file for every 41. & 4.2 BlackBerry OS so that you can unlock all the vendor themes. The list is comprehensive and works like a charm with links to every OS download and modified ALX file. He also includes a modified LBS.alx file to enable BlackBerry Maps on AT&T BlackBerry devices that have it blocked by default. NOTE: Read the instructions at the bottom of the post on how to update your OS to enable the themes.
