blackberryhomeserver.jpg A new Een nieuwe Globe and Mail article Globe and Mail artikel talks about a new RIM technology that will allow you to organize your BlackBerry media files from your desktop called BlackBerry Home Server. gesprekken over een nieuwe technologie die RIM zal u toestaan om uw BlackBerry mediabestanden organiseren vanaf uw bureaublad genoemd BlackBerry Home Server. This is really targeted towards the consumer market which is a big step forward for RIM. Dit is echt gericht op de consumentenmarkt, die is een grote stap voorwaarts voor RIM. The software would reside on your Desktop or Laptop and would connect to RIM's servers to allow you to manage and transfer music to and from your BlackBerry all over the cellular network. De software zou zich op uw desktop of laptop en zou verbinding naar de servers van RIM's die je toelaten om muziek te beheren en de overdracht van en naar uw BlackBerry over het mobiele netwerk. In my opinion this would be absolutely awesome. Naar mijn mening zou dit absoluut geweldig zijn. This would really help RIM compete with other MP3 players such as the Sansa that have built in WiFi to transfer tunes. Dit zou echt helpen RIM concurreren met andere MP3-spelers zoals de Sansa die zijn gebouwd in WiFi naar muziek overbrengen. Just imagine when RIM adds WiFi to their new devices this will be even more useful. Stel je voor wanneer RIM voegt WiFi aan hun nieuwe toestellen zal dit nog meer nuttig zijn. This is just another way that RIM is targeting the consumer market and I really think it is a great way to leverage their always on connectivity to beat out the likes of the iPhone. Dit is gewoon een andere manier dat RIM is gericht op de consumentenmarkt en ik vind het een geweldige manier om hun altijd invloed op connectiviteit te slaan van de graag van de iPhone.
