LogicMail - Free IMAP / POP3 Client For BlackBerry

logicmail1.jpgA couple readers asked me if I knew of a 3rd party IMAP client for BlackBerry devices and I let them know about LogicMail. LogicMail is a J2ME E-Mail client supporting IMAP and POP which is designed to run on BlackBerry devices. The new version .3.1 of LogicMail is a serious upgrade from older versions and is extremely fast and configurable. LogicMail provides an alternative to the push E-Mail for cases where you don’t need push access to a certain email account. LogicMail focuses on IMAP support because the IMAP protocol allows for a lot of optimization for constrained latency and bandwidth that POP does not provide. In short the IMAP implementation will always feel much faster than POP3. As a nod to POP3 users there is also POP3 support in LogicMail.

The developer of LogicMail has just released Version .3.1 of LogicMail which is stable compared to earlier revisions. You can download LogicMail both OTA and using your desktop using the links below:
