If you are a fan of the Zagat city guides then Zagat To Go is a sure hit. Si vous êtes un fan de la ville guides Zagat puis Zagat To Go est un succès certain. The application provides you mobile access to all of the 240,000 restaurant and nightclub ratings for over 70 cities. First Impressions: The download and purchase of Zagat To Go was actually quite complicated due to the fact that the software is registered to your cellphone number. The Interface: When you first open the program there is a wizard that automatically sets up your internet connection to work on your BlackBerry. Once you select the guide you will have to wait about 20 seconds for the guide to download. Once that is done you will see the main home screen above. The last lets you search based on the popularity of the location. Le dernier vous permet de chercher sur la popularité de l'endroit. This is bases on quite a few factors and you can choose the top list that you wish to use as a reference. Once again between each of these selections that you make you will see the download toolbar. This is because none of the information is stored locally so every request requires a new download. Once you make a selection as you can see above you will get some very good detailed information about the restaurant or nightclub. They also include some very nifty features that I found very useful. The top of each listing has two buttons allowing you to either call the location by clicking the call button or viewing a map of the location.  The maps are pretty good and allow you to zoom in and out. The downside is that there is no saved address option or GPS support so you would have to enter in the address manually each time which can get frustrating. L'inconvénient est qu'il n'y a pas d'autre choix adresse pré-enregistrée ou le support de GPS et vous auriez à entrer dans l'adresse manuellement à chaque fois ce qui peut s'avérer frustrant. They also offer the option of getting route information on a turn by turn basis but sadly you cannot view the map and the route information at the same time. Ils offrent également la possibilité d'obtenir des informations itinéraire sur une base tour par tour, mais malheureusement vous ne pouvez pas afficher la carte et les informations sur l'itinéraire à la fois.

Conclusion: In truth I would highly recommend Zagat To Go to all professionals who would otherwise be carrying a paperback Zagat guide. J'ai trouvé qu'il avait une grande profondeur dans les cotes et le contenu de chacun des établissements, mais la présentation et l'accessibilité m'a laissé wanting. je souhaite vraiment ils ont trouvé une façon de mettre en cache les annonces localement afin que la recherche serait un process plus facile puisque la sélection actuellement tous les nécessite une communication avec le Zagat Espérons server. obtiendrez un GUI (Graphic User Interface) d'experts pour les aider à la refonte de leur application, car le contenu est grande, mais la livraison pourrait utiliser beaucoup de travail.

    I have used Zagat to go on my Palm for years and it was my favortie program.I am very disappointed with Zagat to go. J'ai utilisé Zagat à aller sur mon Palm depuis des années et c'était mon program.I favortie suis très déçu par Zagat à parcourir. I no longer have a wish or favorite list. Je n'ai plus un souhait ou une liste de favoris. and the shopping guides for food and stores are not available (which I used) I am also concerned about lack of access when my phone is out of range – too bad – I am now looking at other options. et les guides d'achat pour l'alimentation et les magasins ne sont pas disponibles (que j'ai utilisé) Je suis également préoccupé par le manque d'accès lorsque mon téléphone est hors de portée - trop mauvais - je suis à la recherche d'autres options.     I agree Fern. Je suis d'accord Fern. The fact that it has to download the information every time has made me give up on the application.     One major drawback for me is that you cannot enter your current location and look for nearby restaurants. Un inconvénient majeur pour moi est que vous ne pouvez pas entrer votre emplacement actuel et chercher des restaurants à proximité. Neighborhoods is as close as this application will get. Quartiers est aussi proche que cette demande sera élevée. I guess I was spoiled by Vindigo on my palm device. Je suppose que j'ai été gâté par Vindigo sur mon Palm.
