Get Your Major League Baseball Updates On Your BlackBerry
MLB.com has teamed up with RIM to create a nice new mobile site for Major League BaseBall fans. You can get to the site by going to wap.mlb.com from your BlackBerry. They have also added the option on the top of the mobile site to create a homescreen shortcut to the MLB mobile site. Check out the screenshot above and below to get an idea of what is offered on the site. So far I see options to view scoreboards, standings, news, players & stats, and team information. This also includes the ability to get player and score alerts through text messages. Personally I think they could have done a better job by allowing these alerts by email or even better would be support for BlackBerry push messages. Once again the website is wap.mlb.com. There is also mention of a MLB mobile Baseball game at the bottom of the page but there is no indication that it will be available for BlackBerry devices. Personally I am still waiting for a good sports simulator game for my BlackBerry.
