Goed heeft Michael Hong ons allen de dienst gedaan en een zeer nuttige Chronometer/een Tijdopnemer kostenloos vrijgegeven. Dit is werkelijk iets ik vind de RAND in elk Blackberry zou moeten gebouwd hebben. Er zijn één of twee insecten en er is geen echte steunpagina maar u kunt het programma bij de verbinding hierboven worden OTA. Het programma heeft heel wat eigenschappen en werkt zo zeer goed verder gelezen voor het overzicht.
Installatie: De installatie kan slechts over de lucht op dit ogenblik worden gedaan. Installeer is rond 23KB zich zo ongerust maken niet aan veel over de lasten van de gegevensoverdracht als u op loon bent aangezien u gaat. Er is geen echte steunpagina maar u kunt het programma door zich werkelijk berekenen. Er zijn geen afzonderlijke configuratieopties zodat zal ik rechtstreeks in het vlees van de toepassing gaan.
Interface: Het programma is gebroken in twee delen, de chronograaf en de tijdopnemer. U kunt tussen twee hiervan veranderen door de optie te selecteren u in de daling onderaan menu wilt. U kunt een screenshot van dit hierboven zien. Door gebrek begint u in chronograaf het plaatsen.
Het Gebruik van de chronograaf: De chronograaf is een eenvoudige en makkelijk te gebruiken chronometer. Er is een begin en het terugstellenknoop voor u om de chronograaf te controleren. Onder deze zijn knopen het volledige verloop van tijd en toen de tijd voor de huidige overlapping. U kunt een andere overlapping dan programmeren door binnen op de overlappingsknoop te klikken die verschijnt zodra u begin raakt. Telkens als u de overlappingsknoop raakt wordt uw tijd geregistreerd hieronder in een altijd groeiende kolom. De kolom toont het totale verloop van tijd en de lengte van de geregistreerde overlapping. Zodra u de eindeknoop raakt hebt u de optie om de overlappingsinformatie in het klembord te kopiëren dat het exemplaar gebruikt aan klembordoptie in het menu.
Het Gebruik van de tijdopnemer: Dit is mijn favoriet deel van de toepassing. Er zijn een paar vooraf ingestelde opties in het menu neer te tellen van. U hebt Expresso die 25 seconden is. Dan hebt u 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, en 60 minuten vooraf ingestelde intervallen. U hebt ook de optie om uw eigen intervallen tot stand te brengen.
A nice feature is that you can set up to two additional alarms for the timer. For example you can make it alert you when there is 5 minutes left and 1 minute left. This is completely user customizable. There is also the option to choose from around 20 different alerts. Sadly there is no option to use ringtones and mp3’s that you have on your device. You also have the option to choose your alert based on vibration, tone, or vibration+tone together. This kind of rounds out the application. The application also stays open if you have a current timer or chronograph running and you hit the back button twice.
Currently there is a bug that if the time is updated on the BlackBerry while the program is running it will mess up the count. This is not a big bug but can get in the way if you have auto time update with your desktop or carrier. The other bug I noticed is that the talk and end buttons are supposed to start and stop the countdown. The talk button does start the countdown but the end button exits the application. Neither of these are biggies so you can more or less disregard them.
Pros:

- Stopwatch with lap feature and ability to copy to clipboard
- Timer with preset values and dual alarms
Cons:
- There is no support for using ringtones on your BlackBerry as alerts
- No support page or information page other than a announcement on BlackBerryForums.
Conclusion: The software is quite good for a free unsupported piece of software. Personally I would count it in league with the rest of the freeware must have software for BlackBerry such as bbweather and bbtoday. I think many people will find it useful and I really think RIM should consider integrating such functionality into the OS. Give the Chronograph / Timer a spin and report back what you think.

I like the program. Is there any way to increase the volume on the alarm sounds? I’m planning to use it as a timeout timer for my children. I’ll also use it for a turns timer for them. If I can’t turn up the volume, it won’t do me any good. Please advise. THANKS!
