Magmic has released a interesting RPG game for BlackBerry devices. Magmic heeft een interessante RPG spel voor BlackBerry-apparaten. This has to be the first RPG game that I have ever enjoyed on a BlackBerry. Dit moet de eerste RPG game die ik ooit heb genoten op een BlackBerry. Trust me the story of this game is a riot. Geloof me het verhaal van dit spel is een rel. There is everything from zombies and maidens in distress to black magic on the high seas. Er is alles van zombies en jonkvrouwen in nood tot zwarte magie op de volle zee. The purpose of the game is to kill bad guys (yay!) and release your sweetheart Isabella from the clutches of the big boss. Het doel van het spel is om slechteriken doden (yay!) En laat uw geliefde Isabella uit de klauwen van de grote baas. Talk about original. Talk about origineel. The game has a interesting story line and is quite addictive. Het spel heeft een interessant verhaal lijn en is heel verslavend. The main issue I have with the game is that unlike other Magmic titles you cannot just exit the game and come back to the same point when you start. De belangrijkste kwestie die ik heb met het spel is dat in tegenstelling tot andere Magmic titels die u kunt niet zomaar verlaat het spel en kom terug naar hetzelfde punt wanneer u begint. You must find water wells in the game where you can save you game and return later. U moet vinden waterputten in het spel waar je je spel kunt opslaan en later weer terugkeren. This means if your trying to play a quick few minutes between meetings you are going to have to find save spot quickly or else lose all your progress. Installation: The game installs pretty quickly and runs decently fast on newer BlackBerry devices. First Impressions: The first thing I noticed about the game is that Magmic has listened to their user feedback. I have always complained when Magmic released a new game and the sound was on by default when you first ran the game. They have graciously provided users with an option menu before the game even start to select if they want to mute the sound. The Story: Cursed made me laugh quite a few times. Het Verhaal: Cursed maakte me aan het lachen nogal een paar keer. You play as a sailor named Ishmael (parody?). Je speelt als een matroos genaamd Ismaël (parodie?). Within the first few seconds of starting the game you are confronted with 50 zombies you have to kill. Binnen de eerste paar seconden van het starten van het spel dat u geconfronteerd met 50 zombies je te doden. It is impossible to kill them all and you are supposed to die. Het is onmogelijk om ze allemaal te doden en je wordt verondersteld om te sterven. Talk about a great way to start up the game, dying. Praat over een geweldige manier om het opstarten van het spel, sterven. You then proceed meet your trusty sidekick. Vervolgens gaan voldoen aan uw trouwe sidekick. A parrot named Carlo that Ishmael obviously has a love hate relationship with. Een papegaai genaamd Carlo dat Ismaël heeft uiteraard een liefde haat verhouding met. He actually calls the bird variations of “stupid” more times than he calls him by name. Hij noemt eigenlijk de vogel variaties van "domme" meer tijd dan hij hem noemt bij naam. You then meet your maiden in distress Isabella and discover that the whole town has turned into zombies. Vervolgens voldoen aan uw meisje in nood Isabella en ontdekken dat de hele stad is veranderd in zombies. You get the point. Je krijgt het punt. You continue on and save Isabella multiple times and every time she is whisked away before you get a chance to actually save her. After the first few tasks you complete you find out that your arch nemesis is a baddie named kalakama (seriously). The story line is quite fun and I found it enjoyable. Het verhaal lijn is heel leuk en ik vond het leuk. Once again the main gripe you will find is that you cannot arbitrarily save you game whenever you wish. Nogmaals de belangrijkste gripe vindt is dat je niet willekeurig je spel kunt opslaan wanneer je maar wilt. You have to wait to reach a point where the gave provides you with a save point. Je moet wachten om een punt te bereiken waar de Gave biedt u een save point. I have found that you can just leave the game open on the pause screen by hitting the end call button on your BlackBerry. Ik heb ontdekt dat je gewoon kunt het spel open op de pauze scherm verlaten door op het einde gesprek knop op uw BlackBerry. But if you reboot the BlackBerry you will loose your progress. Another issue I had with the game was that I found the amount of clicking required to get through all of the conversation was quite annoying but it is to be expected in an RPG. Pros: Pros:

  • Good control system Goede besturing
  • Fun story line that keeps it coming Leuk verhaal lijn die houdt het komende
  • Lots of zombies to kill Veel zombies te doden
  • Practically no learning curve. Vrijwel geen leercurve. You pick it up and play. Je pakt het op en spelen.

Cons: Minpunten

  • Lack of autosave ability Gebrek aan autosave vermogen
  • No controls other than movement in game Geen controles andere dan beweging in het spel

Conclusion: I gave this game a 8 because of originality and because it is a pioneer in the field. Conclusie: Ik heb dit spel een 8 vanwege de originaliteit en omdat het is een pionier in het veld. I had to dock points because you cannot save the game whenever you wish. Ik moest dok punten omdat je niet kunt het spel opslaan wanneer je maar wilt. Magmic needs to find a way to fix this since most people use their BlackBerry for casual gaming and need to be able to get back to the task at hand at any moment. Magmic moet een manier om deze oplossing te vinden omdat de meeste mensen hun BlackBerry te gebruiken voor casual gaming en moeten in staat zijn om terug te gaan naar de taak bij de hand op elk moment. In short this game is a love it or hate it kind of game. Kortom: dit spel is een liefde het of haat het soort spel. If you are an RPG fan this game will bring your favorite genre alive on your BlackBerry. Als je een RPG-fan zal dit spel je favoriete genre levend op uw BlackBerry. The story line is addictive and the gameplay is quite fun. Het verhaal lijn is verslavend en de gameplay is heel leuk. Either way with a free trial available why not give it a spin and find out for yourself. Hoe dan ook met een gratis trial beschikbaar waarom niet geef het een spin en ontdek het zelf.
