Empower has once again released a small update but with a big version jump from 1.1 to 2.0. They have released version 2.0.42.7 of their HTML email viewer. The announced feature updates are as follows:

* Force Use TCP/IP Option
* Space key on Suretype devices to scroll up/down
* Incoming PIN Messages shows correct “Using” field
* Date is now shown in headers
* From Field is clickable
* Default Sent via Empower Signature (Can be turned off under Advanced Options)
* Delete original text will delete the HTML view as well.

If you registered for a free copy as we mentioned here then you should know that Empower is currently sending out those emails with a license generator so that users can generate their own key with a special code. I am not sure how this will work in the future but so far they claim to have sent the generator to 500 of the registered beta testers. If you have not yet received the email with the generator keep an eye on this thread at BlackBerryForums.com for more info. Head over to the links above to download the new version.
