Bypass Annoying Customer Service Phone Trees

If you have ever been stuck on the phone talking to a customer service machine then these resources are a must have. The first is GetHuman.com which gives you the direct access codes to reach a human at over 500 companies. The second is DialAHuman.com which has hundreds of listings of the same type. The most important for us BlackBerry users are the direct lines to customer service at our cellphone carriers.  Personally I found GetHuman.com had better organization and no ads on their site. They also allow you to submit a rating of the cheat, rate the level of customer service, and how long it took you to get to a customer service agent. The direct links to the cellphone category of these sites are below:

In Canada most of the time you get one of those phone trees you can get around it by pressing and holding “0″ for 5 seconds. I’ve also encountered # and * workarounds. Often for cellphone carriers they require you to enter your phone number before allowing you to do this- but in the end it speeds the process up because the operator already has your profile pulled up!
