Empower Releases Version .70 – Fixes 2 Major Issues

Ani from Empower has just announced and released version 0.70 of their free Empower HTML Email Viewer utility. This new version fixes the two major flaws in Empower. The first being the text fallback in large emails when you scroll through them. The second was the ability to hit spacebar, “B”, or “Enter” to scroll down in an email. I can confirm that this does work as you can see in the email above. It even worked for my large emails from Sharper Image and TigerDirect!

On a side note they have changed the look of the headers in an email which I wish they would let you customize. They have also mentioned that they still have the following two known issues. Keyboard shortcuts on Shuretype devices do not work as of now and they do claim to have some problems with some images showing up correctly. Truthfully this new upgrade has made the program a must have as your default email viewer. It is much more reliable and looks very professional. Keep up the good work Empower. I hope they implement an image cache in the next version to make reopening of emails with images much faster.
