First thing I have to thank Jonathan Fisher for donating this wonderful piece of software to the BlackBerry community. Het eerste wat ik moet Jonathan Fisher bedanken voor het doneren van dit prachtige stukje software voor de BlackBerry gemeenschap. This is the highest rank we have given on any review so far. Dit is de hoogste rang die wij hebben gegeven op een herziening tot nu toe. This application allows you to have up to 6 customizable shortcuts to websites on your BlackBerry homescreen or ribbon. Deze applicatie stelt u in staat te zijn tot 6 aanpasbare snelkoppelingen naar websites op uw BlackBerry startscherm of lint. As you can see above this was immediately useful for me to setup a link to BerryReview.com and BlackBerryForums.com on my homescreen. Zoals je hierboven kunt zien was dit onmiddellijk bruikbaar voor mij het inrichten van een link naar BerryReview.com en BlackBerryForums.com op mijn startscherm. Now on to what makes this application so great… Nu op naar wat maakt deze applicatie zo groot ...

First Impressions: The first thing that came to mind when I used this software was “Why didn't RIM think of this?” It is a simple solution to get to the websites that you use on your BlackBerry every day without having to dig into bookmarks. Eerste indrukken: Het eerste dat in me opkwam toen ik deze software is "Why didn't RIM denken?" Het is een eenvoudige oplossing om naar de websites die u gebruikt op uw BlackBerry elke dag zonder te graven in bookmarks. As you can see below there were only two things that made me decide not to give this application a full 10. Zoals u kunt zien hieronder waren er slechts twee dingen die me deed besluiten om deze applicatie een volledige 10. I admit that I am being a little nit picky but who doesn't desire the perfect solution? Ik geef toe dat ik een beetje nit kieskeurig, maar die niet de wens van de perfecte oplossing?

Installation: Jonathan graciously provided an OTA install link for the software that can be found above. Installatie: Jonathan genadig voorzien OTA-verbinding te installeren voor de software die kan worden boven gevonden. As he explains on the install page there are 7 install files that you may need to download. Terwijl hij vertelt over de installatie pagina zijn er 7 bestanden te installeren die u nodig heeft om te downloaden. This was my main gripe. Dit was mijn belangrijkste gripe. You have to install a ~30K shortcut hub application and up to 6 different shortcut applications depending on how many shortcuts you want to use. The shortcut hub is required to manage the links but you can choose anywhere from 1-6 of the shortcut applications based on your needs. Configuration: Once you install you will see a few new icons on your home screen ribbon. Configuratie: Zodra u installeert u een paar nieuwe pictogrammen op uw scherm thuis lint. Zelfs als u niet over alle 6 geïnstalleerd zal het nog laten zien alle 6. You can then click on the first one to configure it and you will see a screen like the ones below. U kunt dan op het eerste te configureren en je ziet een scherm zoals hieronder.

You will then have to enter in the full address of the link you want including the http://. U zult dan moeten invoeren in het volledige adres van de link die u wilt inclusief http://. I am hoping the developer will add this in at a later date (I know I am lazy). Ik hoop de ontwikkelaar zal deze add-in op een later tijdstip (ik weet dat ik ben lui). You then have to click the update button underneath the link to update the shortcut. Je hebt dan klikt u op de update knop onder de link naar de snelkoppeling te werken.

Customization: Jonathan added a innovative feature that lets you change the icon for your shortcut in the home screen ribbon. Customization: Jonathan voegde een innovatieve functie waarmee u het pictogram van de snelkoppeling in het beginscherm lint. The icon must be exactly 32×32 pixels and be in a .png format. Het pictogram moet precies 32 × 32 pixels en worden in een. Png formaat. Once again you must also insert the full url including the http:// in the image link. Wederom moet u ook de volledige URL invoegen inclusief http:// in de afbeelding link. The developer mentioned that if it takes too long to download then there must be a problem with the URL. De ontwikkelaar gezegd dat als het te lang duurt om te downloaden dan moet er een probleem met de URL worden. As you can see I have created an image for BerryReview and BlackBerryForums already that you can find at the following URL's, feel free to use and share them. Zoals je kunt zien heb ik een beeld voor BerryReview en BlackBerryForums gemaakt al dat u kunt vinden op de volgende URL's, voel je vrij te gebruiken en delen. The icon in your home screen will only update to the new icon you download after the next time you use the shortcut. Het pictogram in je home scherm zal alleen werken naar de nieuwe icoon u downloaden na de volgende keer dat u de snelkoppeling.

Once you have all that setup everything works like a charm. Zodra u hebt al die setup alles werkt als een charme. You can move the icons around your homescreen. U kunt de pictogrammen rond je startscherm. Hopefully once day the developer will add in the ability to create a hotkey for the each shortcut. The last gripe I had is that as of now the developer has not found a way for users to customise the name of the shortcut so they will all be named “Shortcut1, Shortcut2,…” You can then hide the shortcut hub icon once you are done with the configuration and clean up your home screen. Hopelijk eenmaal dag dat de ontwikkelaar zal toevoegen in het vermogen om een sneltoets voor de elke snelkoppeling te maken. Gripe De laatste die ik had is dat vanaf nu niet de ontwikkelaar heeft een manier gevonden voor gebruikers om de naam van de snelkoppeling aanpassen zodat ze allemaal zullen worden genaamd "Shortcut1, Shortcut2, ..." U kunt dan verbergen de snelkoppeling hub pictogram zodra u klaar bent met de configuratie en het schoonmaken van uw huis-scherm.

Conclusion: This application adds some functionality that I am suprised RIM did not add by themselves. Conclusie: Deze applicatie voegt enkele functies dat ik verbaasd ben RIM niet toe te voegen door zelf. It is a natural extension of the bookmark functionality but with easier access to your most common mobile websites. Het is een natuurlijke uitbreiding van de bladwijzer functionaliteit, maar met een gemakkelijker toegang tot uw meest gebruikte mobiele websites. I really hope that Jonathan continues developing and supporting this great solution and I highly recommend it to any BlackBerry user that finds themselves browsing the same sites on a regular basis. Ik hoop echt dat Jonathan blijft ontwikkelen en ondersteunen van deze geweldige oplossing en ik sterk aanraden aan een BlackBerry-gebruiker vaststelt dat zich het surfen op dezelfde sites op een regelmatige basis.     I have double- and triple-checked the url and the images, but I cannot get this thing to download ANY custom icons. Ik heb dubbel-en triple-gecontroleerd de url en de beelden, maar ik kan niet dit ding te krijgen voor het downloaden van eventuele aangepaste pictogrammen. Hints? Tips?

    Did you use the http:// heading in the beginning of the URL? Heeft u de http:// rubriek in het begin van de URL? I realized you need to use the full headers to get the custom URL's. Ik besefte je nodig hebt om de volledige kopteksten gebruiken om de aangepaste URL's.

    It's an ok product, but could be better. Het is een OK product, maar kan beter. Icon support is pretty weak, and to explain all possible problems as URL problems is just bad. Icon ondersteuning is vrij zwak, en om uit te leggen alle mogelijke problemen als URL problemen is gewoon slecht. The reality is that this product needs very specific Icons and most users just aren't going to have the skills or tools to produce those. De realiteit is dat dit product zeer specifieke behoeften Pictogrammen en de meeste gebruikers gewoon niet naar de vaardigheden of instrumenten om deze te produceren hebben. Also, why can't it use local icons… why does it have to always fetch remote icons? Ook, waarom kan het niet gebruiken lokale pictogrammen ... waarom heeft het te altijd halen afgelegen iconen? Finally, lack of https:// support is just plain lame. Ten slotte, het ontbreken van https: / / support is gewoon lame.
