The folks at BlackBerrySmart have many of the users at BlackBerryForums.com banging at their doorstep to get more information on their new BlackBerry Email Viewer. This viewer promises to revolutionize how users read email on their BlackBerry. (More screenshots after the jump) If what the Beta testers are reporting is true we may have a new “must have” program for BlackBerry. This program adds features such as image support, improved appearance, human readable links, and real emoticons to your BES or BIS email. This is something that previously could only be accomplished using an insecure method with the abandonware Reqwireless 3rd party email client. They also promise to allow you to completely configure your email reading experience with extensive options.

This has been one of the main pain points of receiving HTML email on a BlackBerry. The native email viewer is just bland and makes any email with images and links seem cluttered. This solution promises to relieve these pain points without compromising security. I am not a Beta tester for this software but I hope to to soon have my hands on the real thing so that I can review it for our loyal readers. Keep in mind this will not be a full fledged HTML email client for BlackBerry, rather it is a solution to soften the look of your emails to a more human friendly form. They cannot make it a full HTML client since BlackBerry strips out all of the HTML content other than links and images for security purposes.
